For the veterans, an intense ride with a hike to Savanadurga – Manchanabele is about 70 km from Bangalore towards Bidadi. Enjoy the famed Thatte Idli at Bidadi and proceed towards the 400-years old Big Banyan Tree. Reach the base of Savanadurga Fort, a moderate level hike to one of Asia’s largest monolithic rocks with spectacular views of the surrounding hills. Hampi and Badami- Ride to historic and heritage towns of  Karnataka

Usually, a 5 days trial that goes through mesmerizing valleys large boulders form cascades and rapids. You will trail through a magical and mythical landscape infused with the presence of Gods, Goddesses, and heroes linked with ancient legends. The terrain in Hampi and Badami ranges from flat grounds to moderate climbs. Distances pedalled daily range between 40 to 60 kilometres on a rolling terrain that combines relatively flat sections.

  1. Hampi and other areas in the vicinity are covered in 100 km.
  2. You have an option to drive or ride to Hampi.
  3. Explore dolomites and Anegundi up to the hiking spots which is around 50 km.
  4. Ride approximately 30 km to reach up to Hampi site to witness the magical Virupaksha temple and the other ruins of the time.
  5. Ride close to 140 km for Badami and break the cycle tour with Rock climbing here.
  6. Ride approximately 30 km to Badami caves and get amazed by the magnificent Badami Caves.
  7. The route is low intensity in terms of distance and gradient climbing.

Important Information:

  1. Check the distance and the gradient of the tour well in advance.
  2. On any given day, one will be riding 50-100 km. Prepare well in advance for your adventurous tour. The fitness level required has to be maintained at all times.
  3. Usually, the expedition is accompanied by a support vehicle that carries spare parts, baggage, and can be used by cyclists who want to rest or are unable to cycle on any particular day.
  4. Accommodation in basic to mid-segment hotels and homestays with good hygienic bathrooms is provided by the tour operator.
  5. Although meals are provided by the tour operator, it is advisable to carry your energy refuel along with you.
  6. Carry all prescribed medicines.
