Karnataka Tourism successfully concluded its participation at the 33rd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai 2026. The four-day event took place from 14th to 17th September 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The state delegation presented Karnataka’s rich cultural, natural, and business tourism potential to over 55,000 global travel professionals.
Official Inauguration and Leadership
H.E. Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Consul General of India in Dubai, formally inaugurated the Karnataka Tourism pavilion. Senior government leaders and tourism officials attended the ceremony to mark the occasion.
Shri Kelachandra Joseph George, Hon’ble Minister for Energy and Tourism, led the official delegation. The key leaders representing the state included:

Strengthening Global B2B Partnerships
Hoteliers, travel agents, and tour operators from Karnataka actively engaged with international buyers at the pavilion. The team conducted pre-scheduled business meetings and networking sessions throughout the four-day event.



These interactions strengthened ties with travel agencies, corporate planners, and destination managers across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Consequently, the delegation successfully established strategic pathways to boost future tourist arrivals from the Middle East.

Heritage and Living Traditions
The delegation highlighted UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Hampi, Pattadakal, and the Sacred Ensembles of the Hoysalas. Visitors also explored Mysuru’s grand palaces, traditional handicrafts, regional festivals, and authentic local cuisine.
Wildlife and Eco-Tourism
Exhibits prominently featured famous wildlife reserves such as Kabini, Bandipur, Nagarahole, Dandeli, and the Western Ghats. Travel trade partners discovered thrilling options for jungle safaris, birdwatching, trekking, and eco-tourism adventures.
Holistic Wellness and Ayurveda
The team presented Karnataka’s traditional Ayurveda and wellness ecosystems as ideal choices for long, rejuvenating stays. Serene natural settings offer travelers authentic healing experiences amidst peaceful environments.
Coastal Escapes and Water Sports
The showcase promoted scenic beaches and pilgrimage sites along the Arabian Sea, including Gokarna, Karwar, Murudeshwar, and Malpe. These coastal destinations offer a balanced mix of relaxation, water sports, and unique regional seafood.
Cultural Craft and MICE Tourism
A special display featured regional products under the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative. Furthermore, the delegation showcased Bengaluru’s tech ecosystem to highlight Karnataka’s growing potential for corporate MICE events.
