Why This Matters for Karnataka
India’s tourism sector is showing strong growth momentum. Domestic tourism recorded over 2.5 billion trips in 2023. Outbound travel spending reached ₹2.72 lakh crore in FY2024.
Bengaluru is a key source market for this growth. The city has high disposable incomes and excellent air connectivity. Industry events like TTF enable businesses to identify emerging trends. They help build partnerships across the entire tourism value chain.
