How to Reach

Banavasi is about 20 to 25 kilometres from Sirsi town in Uttara Kannada. Sirsi is connected by road to Hubballi, Shivamogga and coastal towns such as Gokarna and Karwar, with frequent buses and taxis available. The nearest major railway stations are at Talaguppa, Kumta and Hubballi, from where travellers can continue by road to Sirsi and Banavasi.
