Karnataka Tourism Scripts History at the PATA Travel Awards 2020
Karnataka Tourism won the PATA Gold Award in the Marketing Campaign ( State and City-Global ) category for its campaign ” Script Your Adventure “.
The annual PATA Gold Awards celebrates outstanding achievements within the travel and tourism industry in Asia Pacific. These awards recognize exceptional achievement in a variety of categories and rewarding the very best of Asia Pacific’s travel industry. This year the awards ceremony was a virtual affair owing to the COVID pandemic which was held on 24 September 2020.
True to its tagline – One State, Many Worlds – Karnataka has something for every kind of tourist. Karnataka has a plethora of rich offerings for you to enjoy; be it Heritage, Culture, Nature, Beaches or Wildlife. Keeping this mind, the campaign focused on 5 popular destinations of the state which included Hampi, Manjarabad Fort, Kabini, Mysore and Om Beach. Spellbinding visuals were captured including aerial photography which showed the destination in a completely new perspective.
The main objective was to showcase diverse experiences available here to all kinds of travellers and to lure these travellers to find their own reason to have his/ her adventure in Karnataka, and in the process discover themselves. And bringing out never before seen impressions of these destinations that will lure every traveller. All these were aimed for travellers to script their own unforgettable experience in Karnataka.
