Mysuru Dasara Celebrations 2022

Mysuru Dasara is back with its splendid glory and grandeur after two years. The Mysuru Dasara Festival is an experience of a lifetime for all visitors. This year, the festival will begin from 26th September till 5th October 2022. After all, celebrating Dasara in Mysuru might be the most memorable experience that you will cherish for a lifetime.
The city monuments are illuminated with lakhs of bulbs, the roads and avenues are vibrantly decorated with colourful themes and rangolis, well-decorated elephants gearing up for processions, folk and cultural troupes getting ready for performances, and the whole city has all the festive vibes.
Dasara celebrations commence with a puja performed at the famous Chamundeshwari Temple atop the Chamundi Hills, by the holiness himself and his family. All the 10 days of Dasara, brightly illuminated Mysuru Palace is the highlight of the season. Dance performances, flower shows, rangoli competitions, wrestling competitions, doll shows, film and food festivals, musical concerts, processions, folk music and dance shows, craft fair, music bands and much more.

Programme Details: 26th September 2022 to 05th October 2022
Mysore Dasara 2022 will be inaugurated before 09:00 am on 26th September 2022 at Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi Hill by India President Hon. Smt Droupadi Murmu.

There is no entry to the palace for general public and visitors on 05th October 2022, the day of the Vijayadashami procession.
