| This market was built by
Tipu sultan and is one of the oldest in the country. Take
a stroll through the narrow lanes and you can experience
the essence of the local life as well as the former glory
of the market. You can just watch the market or purchase
almost everything from flowers to vegetables to incense
sticks, aromatic oils, exotic herbs, antiques and sandalwood
products from here. The market is located on the western
side of Dhanwanthri road and opens in the early morning.
