Bull
Temple
Built by Kempegowda, it is reminiscent of the 16th
century Dravidian style architecture. It has a huge
granite monolith of Nandi. This landmark is situated
at bull temple road, Basavangudi Dodda
Ganesha Temple
Just below the Bull Temple is the huge Ganesha temple
with a monolith Ganesha idol 18ft. high and 16ft.
wide. This temple was initiated by Kempagowda, the

Built during Kempegowda's reign, this unique cave temple
contains a granite moon; sun-disc monoliths; a stone umbrella;
a Shivalinga; and three cave passages. Every year, during
Makara Sankranthi, this cave temple witnesses a strange
phenomenon when a ray of light passes precisely through
the horns of the stone bull outside the temple and illuminates
the deity inside the cave. ISKCON Temple

Built in an ornate architectural style, the Krishna Temple
is a blend of modern technology and spiritual harmony. The
seven acre temple is situated on west f chord road, Rajajinagar
and finest fusion of modern and traditional elements of

Situated on a hillock, the temple bears a 22ft. high block
granite statue of Lord Hanuman. Shiva Temple
The 65ft. Shiva statue, with an artificial pond resembling
the Manasa Sarovar Lake, and caves with the replicas of
Jyothirlingas are a major tourist attraction. Infant
Jesus Church
Established in 1979 by Rev.Dr. Lourduswamy, the then Archbishop
of Bangalore, the church draws huge crowds on Thursday,
the day dedicated to Infant Jesus. Raagi
Gudda Sri Prasanna Anjenaya Swami Temple (9km)
Located on a hillock known as Raagi Gudda (Maize Mountain,)
the Hanuman temple attracts large numbers of devotees from
south Bangalore. In addition to being a place of worship,
it has now been transformed into a cultural, educational
and social service project including free medical checkup,
free education, book bank and free coaching for students,
meditation centres, yoga, music and Veda reading, library
and choultry. Three huge rocks representing Brahma, Vishnu
and Shiva are added attractions at this temple. A unique
feature of Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations here is the educational
exhibition organised here with different themes.
St Patrick's church:
Built in 1844 this is one of the oldest churches in Bangalore
and is situated on Brigade road.
Brindavan, Whitefield (18km)
The summer ashram of Sri Satya Sai Baba. The seer resides
at this spiritual and educational centre for three or
four months each year.
Art of Living:
Art of living was created by spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar
and is active in more than 145 countries . art of living
is headquartered Bangalore and have a sprawling campus
at Kanakapura road, 15 kilometers from the city. Sri Sri
Ravishankar ' sudarshan kriaya, is supposed to be one
of the powerful meditation techniques. the art of living
